David
Crossley, the owner of Big White Frog,
is a Northern English artist who has developed
a fresh contemporary style with his figurative compositions.
Born a natural artist in Lancashire, 1970,
David Crossley has worked in various fields including
traditional signwriting in the late 1990's
which led to features in international
sign industry magazines.
Airbrushed fairground art is another of his
developments of the last decade,
completing a number of works in the
famous resort of Blackpool that resulted in
him being commissioned to create pieces of art
for Tate Britain, London, in 2000 and a
subsequent feature on Channel 4 television.
However, David has felt in recent years that
he wanted to produce art that could be
appreciated in its own right and has added
Fine Art to his list of diverse abilities and achievements.
